10 News

A daily newspaper about the market, in two editions. Open it from ▤ News in the sidebar, under Earnings Hub.

Every story comes from a market news wire and credits the publisher who wrote it. The source line under each headline is a link — it opens the full article on their site, in a new tab. Trade Together does not rewrite the reporting and does not claim it.

It is a paper, not a live feed. Both editions are printed once, in the morning, and that is the whole idea: a page that reshuffles itself every time you look at it is impossible to read to the end. Refreshing at eleven o'clock will not add stories, and nothing you have already read moves.

When you want the latest on one particular company instead, open its chart and use the News tab — that one carries the last seven days for that symbol, newest first, and is not tied to the morning's edition. The Feed sits between the two: it refreshes through the day, but only for symbols you hold or watch.

10.1 Front Page

The whole market's wire: what moved, who reported, what the funds did. The strip across the top carries the day's index levels, and the masthead states the edition — printed daily at 09:00 New York time, against yesterday's close and this morning's calendar. The date on the masthead is New York's too, so the paper never appears to be dated tomorrow for a reader in another time zone.

Any ticker mentioned in the lead story appears as a chip beneath it. Click one to open that chart.

10.2 My Paper

The same paper, rebuilt around your account:

  • 60% of the page is news about the symbols you hold;
  • 40% is about the symbols on your watchlists.

The split is enforced rather than approximate — holdings get three stories for every two from the watchlist, in that reading order. If one side has fewer stories than its share, the other fills the gap: an uneven page is better than an empty column.

If you hold nothing and watch nothing both editions print the Front Page, and a line at the top says so. The paper is never blank. Add a holding or a watchlist symbol and this edition rebuilds itself around them.
